The upgrades and renovations at the Bird Hall of the Chicago Field Museum are complete and the exhibit has reopened, giving patrons the opportunity to see the more than 1,000 mounted bird specimens in a variety of habitat displays. According to the Herald-News, the exhibit hall has been renamed the Ronald and Christina Gidwitz Hall of Birds, and the specimens come from worldwide sources.
