This cardinal was photographed in Prettyboy, Maryland, in my backyard, which consist of pine trees, lots of bushes, brush piles, and a pond. I have bird feeders around the yard and on my deck. The cardinal was eating seed I dropped on the deck railing.
Tips and Tricks
- I see many winter birds at my feeders, so I keep the feeders filled with different kinds of seeds and peanuts.
- I also have a heated birdbath.

You certainly have a beautiful setup for winter birdfeeding - I'm sure they love the feeders and birdbath, both of which are great for attracting birds all year round.
