Measure and Cut The Base Section

Copyright © William C. Webb

Measure out the base section - 6" x 6" is a good size. I used an electric sabre saw, but a hand saw would work just as well. Try to keep the edge straight and cuts accurate to within 1/8". I used a felt-tip pen to mark where I wanted to cut.
