Find Some Construction Wood

A bird box can be built from any type of weather-resistant wood. Good choices include plywood, cedar, or redwood (not old growth, of course). I found a nice slab of 2' x 4', inch-thick plywood lying around my house.

  4. Measure and Cut the Sides
  5. Measure and Cut the Front
  6. Measure and Cut the Top
  7. Measure and Cut the Back
  8. Assemble all but the Top
  9. Attach the Top
