Few birds are more "lord-like" than the undisputed kings of the avian world, the eagles, all of which are members of the Accipitridae family. These powerful raptors are at the top of the food chain and fear no other beast, truly making them feathered lords. In fact, many eagles, including the bald eagle and golden eagle, are revered as sacred by many ancient cultures.
