Are your bird feeders busy this time of year? Put your backyard bird feeding observations to great use by joining Project FeederWatch. This year's count season begins today and runs through April 5. If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late - registrations for this year's season are accepted through the end of February, but the more data you can submit throughout the winter, the more useful your observations will be.

Join Project FeederWatch and use these tips to have a fantastic winter bird feeding season and make every bird count!

Bird feeders are definitely busy this time of year. Birds tend to flock together to search for food and remain alert to predators. Project feeder watch is valuable and fun and remember to place feeders more than 30 feet from windows and clean them once a week.
