Do you love LEGO? Bird enthusiast Thomas Poulsom does, and his LEGO CUUSOO (LEGO Wish) project helps spread that enthusiasm. Poulsom has created detailed, realistic birds out of LEGO bricks, hoping to generate enough support to encourage the company to market the kits complete with suitable perches and information about each species. Poulsom plans to create more species as support for his project grows, with the ultimate goal of a set of birds for every continent.
Thus far, Poulsom has created more than a dozen species, including a barn owl, European robin, Atlantic puffin, scarlet macaw and a green violet-ear hummingbird. Each bird is as detailed as possible, and several can be created in different poses.
Show your support for Poulsom's project (free registration required), and you may soon be able to build your own LEGO birds!
