It's Mailbag Monday time again, and there are a lot of reader questions to choose from! This week, Charles from New Hampshire asks...

A lot of our spring birds are starting to return, but I always have trouble identifying warblers - they're so tiny and move so quick. Is there a field guide you can recommend that does really well with warblers?

Warblers are the pinnacle of spring birding for many North American birders, but these hyperactive birds can be a nemesis because of their speed, agility and the fact that they eat mostly insects, so many of them do not come to bird feeders regularly to offer the best views. While most field guides do include a basic treatment of warblers, if you really want detail one of the best guides is the Stokes Field Guide to Warblers. Packed with information, multiple photographs, dated range maps and tail diagrams, this guide can help you hone your warbler identification skills quickly and easily.

If you have a question you'd like featured, submit it to Mailbag Monday for consideration, or check out the 2012 Mailbag Monday Archive to see what other birding questions have been asked recently.
