With a total of 37 fantastic entries in this month's photo contest, I was hard pressed to choose just three finalists, but after much scrutiny I managed to narrow down all the bird feeding entries to these spectacular shots, in no particular order...
- A hungry Cooper's hawk having a hard-won meal, by cthrulens.
- An eastern bluebird feeding mealworms to its fledgling, by Fotobirder.
- A male belted kingfisher with a juicy minnow snack, by sapperdan.
Each of these photos is clear, crisp and beautiful and follows the bird feeding theme in a stunning way, but don't take my word for it!
