Super Easy Birdbath Project

Thursday June 25, 2009
Adding a birdbath to your yard or garden is a great way to attract more birds; after all, not all birds will eat seeds or nest in birdhouses, but they all drink and bathe. Sherri Osborn, the About.com Guide to Family Crafts, has an easy and affordable clay pot bird bath craft that anyone can do, no matter what crafting experience you do or don’t have. With a few very simple supplies and a few minutes of effort, you can have your own custom birdbath.

I love this project because it’s so quick and easy to do, and who doesn’t have a pot or two lying around the garage? You can even pick them up at thrift stores and yard sales if necessary, and there are many ways to customize the birdbath to suit both your birds and your garden.

Do you have a favorite project for making a birdbath? Share your tips in the comments!
