Young Birding Artists Sought in Georgia

Students in grades pre-K through 12 in Georgia are invited to share their love of birding by submitting a painting or drawing of their favorite Georgia bird (the state bird is the brown thrasher) for the annual Youth Birding Competition art contest. Winning entries will be selected from three age groups, and one winner’s entry will be replicated on the 2009 Youth Birding t-shirt.Birds portrayed must be native to Georgia, and entries must be between 8x10 and 11x17 inch sizes.
