Learn About and Help Ruby-throated Hummingbirds

The Ruby-throated Hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) breeds throughout a large portion of the U.S. and Canada - where in many locales it is often the only hummingbird species. Operation Rubythroat is a cross-disciplinary international initiative in which people collaborate to study the behavior and distribution of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. They have a great website that describes the natural history of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, and ways the public can help protect this species and contribute to a better understanding of it natural history.
